Rainwater is a clean type of stormwater that comes from impervious rooftops. Stormwater is precipitation runoff from any surface on a property including parking lots, access roads, landscape, in addition to roofs. Stormwater is more contaminated than rainwater, but both are abundant sources to be used for non-potable purposes.
The net effect is to reduce and manage runoff by providing a steady on-site water supply.

Our Solution
Our rainwater and stormwater system follows ASPE 63 and 78 with standardized treatment skid design emphasizing simplicity and reliability. The solution includes sediment filtration and UV disinfection meeting non-potable end use standards with pumping controls, buffer tank if required, and booster pumping. From there, custom additions can be added to meet local requirements.
For some stormwater applications, additional treatment for additional BOD and sediment reduction may be added, such as using Aqualoop MBR for California SB966 compliance.
