Density is the lever that moves a development. Land, entitlement, and soft costs barely change with unit count, so added units fall closer to the margin. A 25–35% density increase on a constrained Florida parcel can move a project from marginal to clearly viable, and the system keeps cutting water bills and discharge for the life of the building.
Requirements to qualify:
- 25+ single-family homes, or 25+ multifamily units (apartments count)
- Multifamily project of five stories or less
- A greywater system serving 75% (for 25%) or 100% (for 35%) of units
- A certified system with a 2-year warranty and documented water-savings estimate
